PHILLY CRIME BOSS JOEY MERLINO HAS HEART PROBLEMS, TRIAL DELAYED

The Feds claim to have "800 hours of tapes" but Boca Raton resident and alleged Boss of the Philly Crime family may have reason to doubt there's anything on them actually implicating him. Then there's allegedly three people cooperating who will take the stand, but some in the Merlino camp think they're all bums who have told lies to save their own skin from their own crimes. If the trial actually starts on the 29th and everyone shows up, look for true courtoom drama as it will be packed with Merlino supporters and local Philly press. Merlino still allegedly lives in Boca Raton, but the Feds still claim that he is the Boss of what is several major factions of organized crime in the greater Philadelphia area.
